I am a versatile costumer who works primarily on costume and prop making and has experience in a range of techniques, such as pattern cutting and millinery. In my work as a costume maker, I am motivated by being able to bring characters to life through the costumes that I make.

In my work I focus on costume construction for theatre, bringing a variety of skills to each project I work on. Much of my recent work has involved costumes and props for pantomimes, which has allowed me to work on large structured garments; this has become a particular interest of mine. 

Through many of my projects such as my “Whose Wild World" beaver costume and my final-year project “Ada the Cook," I have developed and showcased my skills with pattern drafting to assist me in bringing the designs I work with off the page and onto the stage. Along with pattern drafting, my final-year project pushed me to develop many skills, including 3D modeling, foam work, and wig styling, all to create a physical garment to complement and assist the wearer's performance.

Within my work it is important for me to use sustainable practices whenever possible, as in today's world we need to be conscious about how we are treating the planet and what we are leaving behind. 

With my skills I hope to work with you to bring to life any project and design with passion and dedication to what I create.
